Design Philosophy

We specialize in applying these Open Source projects to web design:

• Drupal Web Platform;
• OpenStreetMap;
• Standard Linux (Python, GNU utilities, Postgresql, etc).

Our Drupal installations are based on the unmodified, off-the-shelf Drupal source tree, with standard contributed modules. We do a minimum of PHP programming, and all of our PHP code is stored in the Drupal database and not the source tree. Similarly, any CSS that we write is handled by the Drupal CSS Injector module and does not involve changes to the Drupal sources.

This approach makes the sites we design cost-effective, robust and easy to upgrade to new versions of Drupal.
